This Month in Photo of the Day: Animals

This is a Cuban tree frog on a tree in my backyard in southern Florida. How and why he ate this light is a mystery. It should be noted that at the time I was taking this photo, I thought this frog was dead, having cooked himself from the inside. I’m happy to say I was wrong. After a few shots he adjusted his position. So after I was finished shooting him, I pulled the light out of his mouth and he was fine. Actually, I might be crazy but I don’t think he was very happy when I took his light away.

一只胖乎乎的狐獴一直看守着它的巢穴。其实它一直在睡觉。

中午外婆叫我们三家一起去城市广场的茶餐厅吃饭，临出门一个不认识的绍兴号码打到我手机上，没接。走到楼下，老妈说忘记带公交卡了，又跑上楼去拿，我在楼下等的时候那个号码又打了过来，接起来说是有我的快递，我说你赶紧过来……挂了电话我就在那儿狐疑：这两天没在网上买东西啊。想来半天，大概是上个月底我和轰轰合单的那本台译版万用手册工作术，卖家说10-15天寄到，算算是该到了，但好像我没收到淘宝的提醒邮件啊……快递到了，给我一个快递封，一摸果然是书一样的东西，但厚度好像不对，两本书明显不会这么薄。不管三七二十一，先签收了再说。趁老妈还没下来，我拆开一看，果然是那本书，而且果然只有一本。回来又得去联系卖家补，我在淘宝上买东西怎么老遇上这种七七八八的事……刚刚拿刀的时候还把手掌戳破了，衰。

在茶餐厅点菜的时候，我问服务员糖水单在哪里，服务员说我们这儿没有糖水只有饮料，我黑线……结果自己翻了半天才找到。

饭完回到家，上淘宝一看，那本书果然还是未发货状态……卖家的旺旺不在线，只能照着快递单上的手机打过去，卖家态度不错，说明天帮我查下是怎么回事。

下午用FeedDemon时发现PAC脚本失效了，翻了翻订阅源，发现就是重装系统以后的事。折腾了半天，终于找到了罪魁祸首：IE的代理服务器设置下有一个“跳过本地地址的代理服务器”的选项，默认是选中的，不选中使用代理服务器时这个选项是灰掉的，但其实这个选项对于PAC脚本也是有效的。因为我用的代理是用任意门开在本地的，于是就中奖了。

My husband and I were exploring Lake Minnewanka in Banff National Park-Canada when we stopped for a timed picture of the two of us. We had our camera set up on some rocks and were getting ready to take the picture when this curious little ground squirrel appeared, became intriqued with the sound of the focusing camera and popped right into our shot! A once in a lifetime moment! We were laughing about this little guy for days!!
